This hotel offers a unique experience in a secluded area, perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle. However, if you prefer activities or options outside of the hotel, you'll likely find it lacks variety. The service was attentive, and I appreciated the fancy upgrade we received. Yet, some rooms can be quite dark, which dampened the overall experience a bit.

Rooms

We were upgraded to a one-bedroom suite that was spacious but a bit dark due to limited sunlight.

Tucked away in a remote area, it's beautiful but very isolated with limited activities.

The facilities were nice, but there weren't many activities available during our stay.

Our family had a wonderful ski trip at this resort, where the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our experience enjoyable. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and we loved the ski school for the kids. However, the dining options were below average and overpriced, which was a letdown during our stay.

We had such a fantastic experience at the Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel! Our stay in the penthouse offered breathtaking views, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, making it a perfect family getaway. While the food at the resort left something to be desired, and the dining options felt expensive given the quality, the service we received was top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to help us, which really made our trip memorable.

Rooms
9.0
The penthouse rooms were spacious and clean, with amazing views, though we found it a bit disappointing that there wasn’t a full kitchen with a stove.
Service
10.0
The hotel staff was friendly, professional, and attentive. They were incredibly helpful, especially when we needed a stove brought to our room on short notice.
Location
9.0
The location was excellent for skiing and offered easy access to nearby sights like Smalls Falls and Ira Mountain.
Dining
5.0
We found the dining options on-site to be lacking in quality and a bit pricey, even though breakfast at 45 North was quite good.
Facilities

The pool and fitness area were great, and the hot tub added to the relaxation factor of our stay.

I had a fantastic experience staying at this hotel. The location is ideal for skiing, with lifts just a stone's throw away. The rooms were spacious and clean, and I loved the cozy atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome each day. The included breakfast was a delightful surprise, but the outdoor hot tub could benefit from adult-only hours for a more relaxing experience.

Rooms
9.0
The one-bedroom suite we stayed in was two floors, spacious, and beautifully clean. It had a little kitchen area stocked with everything we needed, plus a cozy housecoat.
Service
10.0
The service was outstanding, with staff who treated us like royalty and were eager to assist with any requests, making our stay feel truly special.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location couldn't be better for outdoor activities, right at the base of the mountain and centrally located in the village.
Dining
9.0
Breakfast was cooked to order from a full menu, and the quality was impressive. We loved starting our day with such a nice meal.
Facilities
8.0
The outdoor hot tub was a wonderful way to unwind after a long day on the slopes, although I would suggest adding 'adult-only hours'.

The hotel has a lovely mountain view and clean, well-kept rooms, which I enjoyed. However, during busy weekends like MLK, it felt overwhelming with the dining arrangements and the wait times. The service was friendly, and I appreciated the amenities, but improvements are definitely needed for handling larger crowds.

Rooms
7.0
Our one-bedroom suite was clean and had a nice layout, though the view was partially blocked by nearby buildings. The upstairs area did feel cramped due to the dormered ceiling, but the kitchen was fully stocked.
Service
9.0
The service was outstanding, especially with the bell team and maintenance. They responded quickly to my requests and ensured we had what we needed throughout our stay.
Location
10.0
The location is perfect for outdoor activities, being close to ski trails and local attractions. It was great to stay and enjoy skiing even on our check-out day.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast was disappointing, especially the dry pancakes and limited seating. We had to wait for a table, which isn't ideal when you're eager to hit the slopes.
Facilities
8.0
The fitness center and hot tub facilities were enjoyable, but finding the way to them was confusing and could use better signage. The hot tub area was a great spot to relax despite the crowds.
